With inflation and other growing operational expenses, effective risk management is more important than ever to help reduce your District’s overall operating costs. The term “risk management” is everywhere, but what does it actually mean?  This special workshop will teach both foundational and advanced risk management techniques, giving attendees the tools to build a structure to systematically help reduce the risk of workplace injuries and property/liability incidents. 

 
During the workshop, participants will:
• Understand the basics of holistic (enterprise) risk management.
• Learn how to evaluate and measure any risk using an industry recognized risk management framework. We’ll focus on actual loss drivers to address some of your District’s leading concerns.
• Be able to identify applicable regulations based on potential hazards and exposures.
• Review best practices for effective program and policy implementation.
• Learn how to avoid common pitfalls associated with risk management and what to do instead.

In addition, attendees will receive valuable implementation tools and resources to help their District’s build a robust risk management program.
