Hotel Room Reservations: 08/1/19 Update: Rooms at the Anaheim Marriott are extremely limited or sold out. CSDA has secured two additional room blocks at area hotels for conference attendees: The Clarion at the rate of $159 plus tax per night and the Cortona Inn & Suites at the rate of $119 plus tax. Room reservation links and information for all three hotels is provided with your registration confirmation.

The CSDA room rate at Anaheim Marriott is $180 plus tax, single or double occupancy. You will receive a link to make your hotel reservation AFTER you have registered for the conference. The room reservation cut-off is August 27, 2019; however, space is limited and may sell out before this date.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be in writing and received by CSDA no later than August 30 , 2019. All cancellations received by this date will be refunded less a $75 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations made after August 30, 2019. Substitutions are acceptable and must be done in writing no than later September 13, 2019. Governance Foundations, the first of four modules and the core of the Special District Leadership Academy series, provides the basic information needed by board members, general managers, and staff to build an effective and functional governance team. This course teaches the foundational knowledge and skills that identify and define the essential building blocks of a successful board, focusing on the critical elements of governance: effective trustees, board mindset, structure, process and protocols, individual/team standards, board's role and responsibilities.

Orange County Water District Tour

Participate in this two-hour tour at the Orange County Water District to learn about the importance of wastewater purification. Explore the Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS), the world’s largest water purification system that produce high-quality water using a three-step treatment process.
