Webinar: COVID-19 Funding Relief: How Your District Should Prepare for Accessing Future Dollars

As part of ongoing efforts for special districts’ access to current and future COVID-19 relief for state and local governments, CSDA will host a live discussion on how to prepare for accessing future relief monies, guidelines for existing relief programs and best practices. All special districts are encouraged to register for this event to gain insight on how to efficiently and effectively prepare for different funding scenarios.
Cole Karr, CSDA Public Affairs Field Coordinator, will give an overview of likely requirements and guidelines based on current state and local government COVID relief programs as well as an overview on how districts can take action on related federal legislation and how to advocate at the county level.
Jim Friedl, Conejo Recreation and Park District General Manager, will share best practices for preparing documents to demonstrate need.
James Zervis, Kern County Chief Operations Officer, will also join to offer their perspective on the county’s administrative procedure of its $2 million relief program for Kern County’s special districts.
